How does SlackArchive connect to my workspace?
We use Slack's official OAuth 2.0 flow. You authorize the app once and we request only the minimum permissions needed to read and archive threads.
Can I set different rules for different channels?
Yes. You can configure independent archival thresholds for each channel — for example, archive after 7 days in #general but 30 days in #announcements.
What happens to archived threads — are they deleted?
By default threads are archived (hidden from view) not deleted. You can optionally enable permanent deletion per channel if your compliance policy requires it.
